The family should help the mother cope with the real crisis she is going through. The family home has been condemned and they have no money or other options but to face the crisis. That mother is a poor girl and does not have money; she must first forget her bad past before facing this crisis until the family is rescued.

Beauty Mark is tonally odd at times, and not all the scenes make coherent sense. But its story and message are remarkable, the actors are excellent, and the realistic depiction of adult survivors of sexual abuse is heartfelt.
