A great comedy, brilliantly directed by Blake Edwards.
July 06, 2010
Sometimes the narrative is subordinated to individual bits of business and running gags but Sellers' skill as a comedian again is demonstrated.
August 07, 2012
The picture is filled with one sight gag after another, many familiar to anyone old enough to remember the glory days of silent comedy.

Funny Pink Panther sequel. Older tweens+.
August 07, 2012
The second Pink Panther film is a timeless piece of knockabout comic artistry and undoubtedly the best of the series.
August 07, 2012
This isn't quite up to the original, but it has its moments.
June 24, 2006
First of the Pink Panther sequels, establishing Sellers' incompetent Inspector Clouseau as a viable series character, and prompting Blake Edwards into an unchallenging downhill coast for far too long.
August 07, 2012
The original Pink Panther movie, and perhaps even the best. Sellars is, obviously, stellar.
May 03, 2005
Perhaps the series' most effervescent entry.
July 03, 2014
The crime plot itself is merely window dressing for the one hundred minute showcase of Peter Sellers' amazing timing with both verbal and physical comedy.
April 02, 2010
Despite the continental suavity, this is a most brutal work, the end of an era as comic classicism is skewered by the jaundiced humor of the new decade
May 20, 2003
It is mad, but the wonderful dexterity and the air of perpetually buttressed dignity with which Mr. Sellers plays his role make what could quickly be monotonous enjoyable to the end.
