Born in Newark, New Jersey, raised in Irvington, New Jersey. After Ricky graduated high school he moved to Richmond, Virginia with his fiancé. It was when he was in Virginia that he decided to pursue acting. He stayed in Virginia for a year and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to dive into the industry.
