Nick Murphy is a BAFTA winning director and writer. He was born and grew up in Merseyside, NW England. A former editor of news and current affairs for the BBC, he began directing documentaries in 1996. A decade later he moved into writing and directing dramas. He thinks rudeness and abusive behaviour is too tolerated in the industry. Being horrible to work colleagues is not justified simply because one makes good or lucrative movies. Hide
