Neva Tamsen was born in Montreal, Quebec to Teresa and Glenn. She is of Irish and French ancestry. She has written, directed and produced six short films and just completed a web series called "TAPE" about wrappers in a Christmas pop-up shop.Neva began taking piano from the age of 6, enrolled in theatre camps where she performed in Once Upon a Mattress, Fiddler on the Roof and Oliver. Neva danced classical ballet at the School of Alberta Ballet. In high school Neva was scouted by a modeling agency at the Calgary Women's Show. She then went to South Africa and modeled. She has also traveled to Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the South Pacific.She went to Acadia University in Nova Scotia and acquired a BA with a Major in Political Science where she developed a passion for First Nations and environmentalism. She then moved to Toronto, Ontario to pursue Modeling and Acting full-time where she modeled on The Shopping Channel. Continuing her love for acting Neva moved to New York City and trained for two years at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory. Hide
