Lonny Aufrie was born in Jerusalem, Israel, to Dan, a journalist and radio host, and Irit, an entrepreneur. She is of Hungarian, German, Spanish and Israeli decent and grew up bilingual in English and Hebrew. Lonny began acting as a child and had her theatre debut at age 11 in a production of Mozart and Schikaneder's The Magic Flute. She continued to act, sing, and dance in various productions through her teens and performed at spoken-word events with pieces of her own creation. After graduating from High School as an honor student Lonny began pursuing a professional career in acting. She trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City and graduated from the conservatory program. Following her graduation she moved to Los Angeles where she is currently based.Shortly after arriving in LA Lonny got the part of Kristy, a disturbed teen in a CEDU school in the 80's in the independent film Brainwashed- a true story. She went on to be cast as Jennifer in the independent short horror film 'Wind in the Woods' by debuting Writer/Director Dan Mills. The film was featured in the LA Horror Film Festival and received rave reviews. Microsoft and Google commercials were next to follow as well as a recurring role in the sci-fi web series 'Split' and co star roles in CBS's Code Black and Lifetime's Killer Kids. Hide
