Lidia was born in a small town called Backa Palanka located in the northern Vojvodina province of Serbia which you probably couldn't find on map, so don't worry about it. Her parents moved to Chicago, IL and planted roots when she was a year old. She graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, IL with a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Shortly after college, she got a really bad case of "Artistic itch" caused by a rash of unrealized potential and dreams. To remedy her affliction she left her job in the corporate world to pursue acting in Chicago. After a couple of successful years working and studying the craft in Chicago, she packed her Mitsubishi Eclipse and drove to Los Angeles to continue scratching. She has been working in various theater, TV, film, and commercial projects since. Things have cleared up nicely if you were wondering, thanks. Lidia has been credited under the names Lidia Sabljic, Lidia Mills, and most recently changed her stage name to Lidia Ryan because she felt like it.
