Levystein Lockett is proud to be attached to and playing the role of Officer Williams in the Oscar Nominated Short Film "Dekalb Elementary" for this years Academy Awards.Levystein has studied with top names in the entertainment industry such as James Franco @ Studio4LA, Los Angeles based Margie Haber Studio and Joanne Baron D.W. Brown Studio. Early 2015 is when she made the jump to the small screen being cast in the Lifetime Movie Network(LMN) cable tv show "My Crazy Ex" as well as walking the runway as a Mom Model on the powerful talk show "The REAL." She has also shown off her acting chops appearing in the Independent Feature Film "Quarter Life Coach" where it calls for great emotional complexity and short film, "Toy Soldier" portraying a military widow turned single mom (where she was able to act along side her real life eight year old son). Levystein has since been cast in several television shows showing off her acting chops. By default, she is a dramatic actress going after emotionally filled roles.Levystein is the proud mother of two boys and is originally from New York. She caught the acting bug when she was the lead actress portraying Shirley Chisholm in a play titled, "The Life of Shirley Chisholm" while serving in the US Air Force stationed in Texas. After that experience, she knew one day she'd seriously pursue being a professional working actress.Levystein is a UCLA psychology graduate. Her favorite fragrance is ONLY ME Passion by Yves de Sistelle. She loves roses with pink being her favorite color. Her dream vacation is Italy. She is very passionate about all human beings being treated with kindness and respect along with having equal opportunities and her favorite all time theme song is "Moving On Up" from the television show The Jeffersons.Curiosity is piqued when someone sees or hears Levystein's name.
