Jamillah Nicole grew up in Contra Costa and Marin counties. She got her start in show business while taking classes at the age of six at the East bay Center of Performing Arts in Richmond, California and the Black Repertory Theatre in Berkeley, Ca. She became a professional actor at the age of nine when she snagged a role in the play T'is The Morning Of My Life, a theatrical serial that ran for seven years, "with each year being, a different episode", she remembers. The play took Jamillah to Los Angeles at twelve where she got her first Agent. Jamillah booked her first episodic at age 16 and went on to get principal roles in Midnight Caller, Ill Gotten Gains, Texas Talaiban, and commercials for Olsdmobile and Liberty Mutual. Hide
