Giovanni Ripa was born in the Bronx, New York. He was raised in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. His mother, Patricia, is of Italian descent, and works as a teacher. He has never met his father. The grandson of Dorothy and Frank Ripa. Giovanni graduated from Temple University's Theater program. There, he crafted his acting technique, most notably displayed as "Iago," in William Shakespeare's "Othello." Hide
