As the new best friend of poor persecuted boy Jean Bonnet, the young Gaspard Manesse conquered audiences with his role as Julien Quentin in the Oscar nominated picture Au revoir les enfants (1987). Manesse was born on March 25, 1975, and after this film debut he ventured into some other projects such as Erreur de jeunesse (1989), Comme il vient (2002) for which he also composed the music score - and most recently Un transport en commun (2009).He works with environmental causes.
