Evan J. Simpson was born on Chicago's South Side. His drive for success strongly shows through his work ethic and ability to tap into different forms of art. Evan began his training as an Acting major at the Chicago High School for the Arts in 2014. In the Summer of 2017, Evan made his professional debut on stage performing the musical In the Heights, playing the role of Sonny, at Gallery 37 in downtown Chicago. In his senior year of 2018 Evan competed in the August Wilson Monologue Competition where he placed 3rd out of 600 high school students in Chicago. That summer, Evan started working on his first Feature Film "Beats" Set to release on Netflix in 2019 playing the role of Laz. Evan now studies at the prestigious Theater School of DePaul University where he plans to receive his BFA for Acting in 2022. Hide
