DG always enjoyed films and is a self-proclaimed film buff. As a youth, he enjoyed making short films and music videos with his friends and family but never took it seriously until he reached college. Throughout his teens and early 20s, a deeper understanding and love of photography also grew.He attended Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa and while there, he learned that this love for photography and films shouldn't be a hobby but rather a career. He spent his college years taking photos, making short films for his house for various functions, and writing, directing, and producing his first short film The Secret Lamoni Murders (2007). Hide
