Chad was raised on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado prior to attending the film program at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2000. In 2003, Chad moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he found various work as a temp on the 20th Century Fox Studio Lot. He has since worked as VFX supervisor on such acclaimed television shows as Mr. Robot (2015) and Homecoming (2018), in addition to working as a visual effects artist on the films Gone Girl (2014) and Birdman ou (La Surprenante vertu de l'ignorance) (2014), among several others projects. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America as a director, and most recently directed the insert unit for the entirety of season four of Mr. Robot (2015). Hide
