As a Southwest Virginia native, Branika Scott took on the stage at an early age. Her acting career began at five years old with her first performance in The Wizard of Oz. From here, Branika continued to act for the Missoula Children's Theatre in local plays every summer. She came alive in children's classics such as The Princess and the Pea, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. Scott continued acting throughout her high school career, winning both an 'Outstanding Actress Award' at the state level, as well as a State Championship Title in Forensics. But she didn't stop there and chose to continue acting and focus her studies on the craft. While obtaining her B.F.A. in Drama at the University of Virginia, Branika continued to follow her passions, acting in both classic and student written works such as Seven Guitars, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow Is Enuf, Canaan, and The Black Monologues. Upon graduating in May with her B.F.A., Branika decided to pursue her career by moving to Los Angeles where she now resides. Hide
